Fellowship at the KGU "Culture Festival" '07

The bunkasai is a time for clubs and other groups at KGU to open a booth or give a demonstration of their activities. It's three days of hard work, but also lots of good food like hot sweet bean soup, crepes, yakisoba and chocolate-covered bananas... This year, the Fellowship did a food booth with an American theme. We served Johnsonville brats, clam chowder, corn soup, nachos and soft drinks (I'm not sure the corn soup part was so American, but it was a hot selling item!).

These guys are hard at work making placards to hang around their necks to go out into the crowds and drum up business for our booth... Gambatte ne!

Corn soup--a real hot seller. Why? I have no idea... In Japan, you can buy hot corn soup in cans from vending machines--a substitute for a hot cup of coffee in the morning, maybe?!
